Did you know there are over 200 million active websites in the world? As you can imagine, that means standing out has become increasingly difficult, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. Fortunately, there are numerous innovative marketing tactics that can boost your website’s traffic.

One effective digital marketing tactic is using SEO content. In today’s post, we’ll guide you through some of the best SEO content your website should have.

    Blog Content

Perhaps the most effective type of SEO content is a blog. But, unlike the past, where people used blogs as a public diary of their opinions, modern blogs aim to introduce your products or services to your online readers and establish yourself as an authority on various search engines. But, of course, to establish that authority, you’ll need more than killer content.

You’ll need to research thoroughly to discover what keywords will draw in your target audience. Additionally, you’ll need to ensure that the headings, metadata, and image descriptions have the necessary keywords. In terms of length, you can have either short blog content (300 to 1000 words) or long blog content (1000 to 3000 words).

If you want to practice smart marketing techniques, you’ll want to have various blog posts of varying lengths. If you would like to read more about SEO blog content, be sure to check out this blog.

    Evergreen Content

Evergreen SEO content stays relevant regardless of how old the post is, which means the information never loses credibility. For example, a news article can go out of date within weeks since a new development can change the original news report. So, what are some examples of evergreen content?

    • Recipes
    • Workout routines
    • Historical biographies
    • Industry resources
    • “How To” guides

Additionally, you should update evergreen content occasionally by adding new keywords, but the main content should be relevant all year long and for many years to come.

    Trending Content

As you can imagine, trending content isn’t meant to last long, but it can be the best content strategy if you want to drive traffic at a faster rate. In addition, through trending content, you can push new products or promote existing ones by using high-quality links or newsjacking. The term “newsjacking” means injecting your brand into a current trend by providing an analysis applicable to your product or service.

Of course, these links should come from a reputable source and cover the current trending news. As you can expect, more often than not, trending content may be false or inaccurate, so always double-check your sources before posting anything on your website.

    Must-Have SEO Content

As you can see, there are numerous ways you can increase traffic through your SEO content. But, of course, it takes time and dedication to build a good rapport with Google or other search engines. But, once you gain proper search engine authority, you’ll see your website grow in no time.
