A RealMe X review would not be complete without telling you about this new phablet from Samsung. The RealMe X series is the flagship mobile phone of Samsung. It is a powerful phone that comes loaded with great features. However, if you think that having all these functions on a mobile phone would make it a dud, then you’d be wrong. If you have been a loyal customer to Samsung phones, then you would know how great these phones have been. If you haven’t had the pleasure of using one yet, then you need to get your hands on one right now.
The beauty of RealMe X is its slim design. Its appearance is that of a high-end smartphone, rather good job done by the manufacturer. This latest version of the Realme X smartphone is about delivering an intense cinematic experience – it comes with an optical image stabilization system, a 91.2 percent super AMOLED touch screen and a 16. 58-inch Super AMOLED touch screen. Staying ahead of its game, this latest smartphone comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a cute pop-up camera.
If we have to pick, we will vote for a very realistic user interface or at least one that gets the job done with a minimum of fuss. We found that it is not as intuitive as the iPhone or Android phones and doesn’t really come close to reality as far as productivity apps are concerned. The unique feature of RealMe X, though, is its colorful interface that does make things easier to use.
If we have to choose between color OS and color SMS, it is a toss up. Color OS offers a lighter interface than its competitor. The color scheme is neat and not too busy. On the other hand, it lacks the professional look of the iPhone or Android phones. So it loses out on the space comparison but it did score better in the brightness stakes.
The big highlight of RealMe X Review is its camera performance. It has an efficient camera, although the effects aren’t as impressive as we expected. The images are bright and have decent resolution. We can say the camera is capable of performing basic functions such as snapping pictures of friends and family or even outdoor scenes; however, the image stabilization ability of Sony imx586 sensor should be taken into account.
When taking pictures in low-light situations, the camera performed well for the most part. However, the picture results weren’t as accurate as what we expected. There’s also no picture stabilization in portrait mode and the whole scene is captured with a blurred background. Overall, the camera isn’t as precise as some of the others in low-light conditions.
RealMe X Review also gives an in-depth look at the phone’s key features. The touch screen is large and responsive. The faux-pentagon design provides a user-friendly home button. The phone’s battery lasts for several hours easily. The headphone jack is located on the bottom, which is useful for controlling the camera functions.
The camera functions well in both portrait mode and digital zoom. The video recording is rather good. The image stabilization and noise reduction tools are great for getting a clear picture. The color modes and brightness options are quite good. On the other hand, the volume controls do not turn up to high levels, which could be a problem if you need to make a call. Overall, the RealMe X review considers the RealMe X an average camera rather good job doing what it sets out to do.
With a 4.2-inch WVGA screen, the RealMe X measures up at eight inches tall, which makes it easier to hold for one’s self. It weighs in at just over two pounds, so it should not be too heavy to be of any pressure. The weight makes it easy to hold with one hand while the camera sensor is kept in a more ergonomic position when the phone is slung on a shoulder. In portrait mode, the phone feels like it is leaning forward slightly when in use. The screen is slightly smaller than that of the iPhone, but it is sharp and clearly seen.
The Redmi K20 has similar dimensions and looks almost identical to the iPhone in general. The text on the Redmi K20 font is a bit different though, and is a little larger than that of the iPhone, but is still legibly readable. The phone’s camera also produces an impressively good image quality in both low-light and high-light conditions, although it does suffer from some minor issues with colour distortion and compression. The colour accuracy of the images in low-light conditions is very good but suffers from visible errors in some of the scenes.
Overall, the RealMe X smartphone is an impressive smartphone. Although it may not have all the features of the iPhone, it is definitely a step up from the current crop of smartphone handsets. The price tag might put some people off, but if one considers the features and usability, then the lack of a bigger display or better sound quality are minor setbacks. The True Snapshot feature is one of the most impressive aspects of this smartphone. Users definitely recommend this handset to anyone looking for a compact smartphone with great functionality.
