Different Usage of Labels for Your Business

Would you like to revamp your product packaging? Or are you just starting out and want to customize your brand? No matter where you are in your business journey, we are here to help you reach your goals with custom labels.

Yes, you heard right, labels. They are a low-cost, high-impact marketing tool you should not ignore. But before we jump into all the ways labels can help you grow your business, we need to talk basics. What are labels?

There is no fundamental difference between stickers and labels. Both are adhesive backed pieces of paper or plastic that can be stuck onto surfaces. However, where stickers are individually cut, labels arrive on sheets. This makes them 65% easier to peel and apply, which can be a real time saver when you have to apply hundreds of them.

So let’s find out how you can make labels work for you with these four tips!

    1. Product Labelling

Labels allow you to customize your product no matter the size of your budget. Using labels, you can bulk buy your jars and boxes at a low price and brand them with your logo! Most label printers offer a wide range of materials which make labels incredibly versatile.

If you are selling candles, a holographic label could be perfect for you. The rainbow effect of the holographic material is not only an eye-catcher, but mirrors the features of your candle. Do you sell your product in jars? Pick a clear or transparent label that allows your customers to still see the beautiful colors of your contents.

    2. Limited Edition Seals

Limited edition seals have long found their place in marketing. A simple label can help you create scarcity around your product. By telling your customers that your product will only be around for a limited amount of time, you minimize the time they have to make a purchase decision.

This amplifies sales, especially in comparison to your competitors, whose product will be available for weeks to come.

We recommend getting a biodegradable paper label for this. These are thick, giving your brand that premium feel and come with a natural matte finish. As they are made out of paper, they can easily be torn or removed once your product is being used.

    3. Packaging

While you should absolutely brand your product, do not forget about your overall packaging like mailers, cardboard boxes or envelopes. All of these help you create an amazing product experience for your customers.

This is also a great way to communicate your brand values. Are you using eco-friendly materials? Then get eco-friendly labels that announce this to your customers and can be recycled with your packaging.

You do not have to stop at your logo, but can add address labels and a customized message to your packaging to really make your brand stand out. This transparent label pictured below shows how great this can look.

    4. Merchandise

Do you want to host a giveaway to reach more customers? Or are you taking part in an exhibition and want people to remember you?

With labels, you can customize your own merch! Just as you can with your product, you can bulk buy water bottles and USB sticks at a low price and add your logo. There are absolutely no limits to your creativity.

This way, you turn your customers into brand ambassadors that not only sport your logo but sing your praises at the same time – how much better can it get?

And that’s it, four ways to use custom labels for your business. We hope you loved these and maybe we inspired you to give labels a try? If so, we would love to hear from you in the comments!
