    How to Deal With Chest Pain At Home

    The first thought that comes to my mind when I have chest pain is a heart attack. Well, it sounds strange, but scare the hell out of you. Only heart attack is not the reason for the chest pain, but there can be many other reasons that can trigger the pain in your chest.

    Without knowing the cause, a person wants to deal with the pain instantly. Infrequent pain of the chest can be caused by various health conditions, such as muscle strains, anxiety, gas, etc.

    You cannot differentiate the minor or serious conditions until you go for a complete physical checkup. When you are in doubt, seek medical attention. Best heart specialists say that an urgent medical help you need if you have the following conditions:

    • Squeezing, tight, or heavy chest pain or heart pain
    • When you suspect that it is not a normal pain but could be a sign of heart attack
    • Breathing problem, along with chest pain

    Home Remedies to Treat Heart Pain

    To alleviate the heart pain, you need to do several practices that can help in reducing future risks. Home remedies are suitable for those people only who have had a complete checkup and not a serious condition is found by the doctor. Angina patients should also go with the medical treatment rather than following the home remedies.

    • Garlic

    Many researchers say that garlic has been proven effective in chest pain, but there is no scientific evidence yet. You can mix one or two cloves in a glass of warm milk. There are many benefits of chewing garlic for health.

    It also lowers the chances of the buildup of plaque in the arteries.

    • Eat Almonds

    When you find out the acid reflux reason for chest pain, almonds are the best food you should go for. Almonds or their milk can help to deal with acid reflux. There is no scientific proof that supports almonds suitable for chest pain, but this is the experience of many people who share the positive response.

    Some research reveals that almonds play a role in preventing heart diseases. Consumption of the almond will not reduce the pain, but it leaves positive effects on the overall of your health.

    • Drink Hot Beverages

    When gas causes chest pain, you should go with a hot drink. It also helps in boosting digestion. Few drinks are as beneficial than others, such as hibiscus tea as it is effective to deal with bloating.

    This drink also deals with high blood pressure and leads to reduced cholesterol. It also helps in preventing heart diseases.

    • Aspirin

    Aspirin is a pain reliever that alleviates heart pain in less severe cases. Low-dose aspirin protects you from a heart attack. But it increases the chances of bleeding.

    • Lie Down

    When you feel chest pain, lie down and take some rest. Lying down with a body posture in which your head is elevated above the body brings instant relief. If you have acid reflux and chest pain, lie down in a slightly upright position to deal with such less chest pain.

    • Turmeric Milk

    Foods or drinks with anti-inflammatory properties are the best way to deal with chest pain. Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties that alleviate chest pain. Take turmeric with warm milk before going to bed. It will help you alleviate chest pain.

    What Are the Causes of Chest Pain?

    There could be any reason for the chest pain, but you need to have a complete checkup to make sure of the physical condition.

    Some common causes are:

    • Muscle strain
    • Injury to muscles
    • Stable angina
    • Unstable angina
    • Heart attack
    • Heartburn
    • Acid reflux

    You should learn about the signs of a heart attack because it requires instant medical treatment.

    • Shortness of breath
    • Lightheadedness
    • Cold sweat
    • Pain in upper areas of the upper body, such as neck, jaw, arm, etc.

    Final Thought You should understand the fact that home remedies are only for the less severe conditions but not for serious health problems. Visit your doctor and get medical treatment for any risky health problem.
