Below mentioned are some safety precautions which should be made during fireworks.

Check your tenancy and your neighbours

Check the safety of your guests Keep a check on your property stability

    Try to avoid property damage

Check your Tenancy and your Neighbours

If you are thinking or planning a firework display on your home, you need to check your tenancy or go through your landlord before making a concrete plan. Many landlords are reluctant to open fire on their property and have made it clear in the tenancy agreement.

You need to look over your tenancy agreement and should have a quick chat with your landlord if he allows you to have a firework display at his residence or not.

If the tenancy has nothing to say about the firework exhibition, you surely need to confirm it with your landlords.

Once you’ve cleaned it up with your landlord, it’s a good idea to clean it up with your neighbours as well. Not only is this a good thing to do, but it is also part of your tenancy agreement. You have to make sure they are willing to throw you a good party. Chances are, they’ll be good with it if it happens occasionally.

Check the Safety of your Guests

Do not overlook that you are responsible for the actions of everyone you invite to your rented property, so you have the option to keep everyone safe. Assure to have fire precautions if your hazard is slightly moving, and make sure everyone is standing up well. Avoid drinking alcohol until firework displays and children are not too close to the flame.

Firework Night also serves as a timely reminder to check your smoking alarms. A working alarm can make a big difference in the event of an accident.

Keep a Check on your Property Stability

Preferably, you will need plenty of space in your property if you have a great mass of people around you, but this is especially important with a firework display because it has many safety implications.

You only need enough room to fit each one. Make sure that people in your garden enjoy the fireworks and fireworks displays from a safe distance. You will also need to check for trees, telegraph poles, or anything nearby that may mystify a warning around exposed flames. If you do not believe it is safe to fire, it is best not to take the risk.

    Try to Avoid Property Damage

If your garden or terrace is part of a rented property, you will be responsible for returning it in the same condition in which you moved.

So, if you are planning to light a fire inside your residence, position it in a way that will not cause any harm to the guests. Hold on to any fencing plants nearby the fire area.

While your guests are confident that you will enjoy the fireworks from the outside, consider protecting your landlord’s floor from the inside or you may be accountable for the loss if you leave at the end of the tenancy.

Simple steps like laying a plastic sheet or applying not to wear shoes inside the firework area can make the difference.
