A record of the family’s gross family income for the last two years must also accompany the submission form. That means the latest income file or Gensen Choshu Hyo along with the family’s tax statement or the Kazei Shome Sho or the Japanese Appointment Letter.

How Do Prepare Your Child?
If your child gets shortlisted for the scholarship test and interview, one way you can help is to do mock exams and interviews with your little one. A mock test can boost your child’s confidence in answering the exam. The mock interview can help reduce your child’s nervousness about the upcoming interview. You might also want to help your kid pick up the right outfit for facing up the scholarship panel. Jeans are out. A professional appearance is ideal. Make sure it’s comfortable enough, though. If your child keeps fidgeting in the seat because what s/he’s wearing is uncomfortable, that will register with the panel. It shouldn’t affect their decision but remember that the interview is your child’s chance to convince them s/he’s the right candidate. Every minute should focus on that then to make the most out of the opportunity.
